About
Elsie Goodwin is a fiber artist based in Claremont, California.
She creates thoughtful textile work rooted in process, repetition, and care. Working primarily with macramé and natural fibers, her practice focuses on pieces that bring warmth and quiet presence to modern interiors.
Selected collaborations and creative experiences include Miu Miu, CHLOÉ, VINCE., Netflix, VANS, Knoll, Alchemy Works, and the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles.
Through commissioned work and creative experiences, Elsie explores the role of handmade objects in shaping how we live, gather, and feel in shared spaces. Her work reflects a belief in intentional making and the value of slowing down through craft.
Her work has also been commissioned and created in collaboration with Kevin Barry Art Advisory, West Elm, and Modernica.

“Your ability to engage guests in a tactile, meaningful way is something we value deeply — especially in a time where in-person experiences carry so much importance. It really comes through in your work, and the feedback from the store team reflected that as well.”
Chloe Workshop South Coast
This crochet workshop was taught to eighteen top Chloé clients. I teach each class from a beginners point of view, making it easy for all skill levels to enjoy crafting and spending quality time together.
Vince. Crafted Exhibition
I created Macrame Wall Hangings live in store at both Vince. and Nordstrom. This event was to help celebrate the launch of an exclusive knit collection ‘Crafted by Vince.’ Over the course of a few hours I engaged with clients and they were welcome to learn and craft along with me.
My experiences are tailored to each group, encouraging problem solving, connection, and shared accomplishment. Using macramé, crochet, and other textile techniques, participants explore creativity, collaboration, and focus while creating a finished piece together.
